[TYPO3-english] Can you use the alias of the page you are shortcutting to?

Hi,
I only use shortcuts for navigation/menu purposes as I don't want to have
any duplicate pages on my site. Is there a way that you can have the
shortcuts use the alias of the page it is shortcuting to. So you can have a
shortcut to a page with the alias monkey.html and in menus instead of using
its on alias 241.html it will use monkey.html. Thanks for you help
