No, that's the way KJ: Image Lightbox v2 works. (It's only XHTML validators 
that are picky about the markup if it's not defined in DTD, but it still 
works)
KJ: Image Lightbox v2 adds custom attributes to the A tag which is then read 
by the Lightbox script. And AFIK it has several custom attributes, due to 
the gallery options.

That was one of the main reasons I wrote my own lightbox/clone extension 
(PMK SlimBox), as I needed the page to validate  to satisfy a customer ;)
(Without having to mess around with writing a custom DTD, which is a pain, 
and most online validators doesn't read it anyway..)
