i have "include static from extension" for the rating plugin in the
website TS if that is what you mean. for test, i insert the comment
plugin with ratings options and can see the stars within the comments
there but ratings won't appear if it is by itself or unless that page
has a tt_news plugin.

Im using php 5.2.4, ratings 1.0.9, typo3 4.2.1, tt_news 2.5.2, and
comments 1.4.5
