RealURL processes only query string parameters. I afraid your claims
are false. This should be nothing to do with RealURL.

Of course, it could be a very ancient version of RealURL, which had
a bug (the same bug that CooURI fixed much later than RealURL). The
best way for such things is to upgrade the extension in question.
