Hi Christian,

I know this thread is quite old, but ...

We are currently planning our website relaunch. One of the major
problems is the TYPO3-SugarCRM-Integration. I would like to use the
eu_sugarcrm extension as a replacement for our current
mailform/scripting solution.

I have three proposals for the extension of the existing features:

1. I would like to use something else as the TYPO3 mailform, e.g
powermail, because this is much more comfortable

2. we need an option for double-opt-in for our newsletter - this would
be possible with powermail_optin

3. We have to ensure that no data is lost, even if there is no
connection between TYPO3 and SugarCRM at the time the form is submitted.
With our mail-based solution we are simply using the smtp ability to
queue the mail and send it later

I know that 1. and 2. are somehow connected, since I propose the usage
of powermail and a powermail extension. Maybe it would be possible to
use tt_address as storage for powermail and have eu_sugarcrm look for
updated/new records in a certain page with tt_adress records?
