[TYPO3-english] de_custom_tags problem

possible that de_custom_tags just does not work with v4.1.1 ?
I am using TypoScript tipe. I have this in RESULT field: PHP_SCRIPT.file = 
fileadmin/tagtest.inc
and only this in the tagtest.inc:
<?php
$content = "bla-bla";
?>

I am using this CT in Text type content type and nothing is rendred.
