[TYPO3] Using T3 language feature to deliver different contents

Hello,
I have a german site which will never be translated into other languages as copies of the installation will be used instead.

Now there is one particular subtree in the pagetree which needs to be delivered with different contents. E.g. consider there are 10 usergroups which will see the same pages but different content on these pages.

My idea is to 'abuse' the language feature to manage the different contents for these pages. That way the authors will only have one set of pages on which they place the different contents on by selecting the group from the language dropdown.

Before starting implementing this I'd like to know wether there are better ways of doing this or if there is any problem connected to using the language feature?

I would have to create new 'languages' named by the groups in order to have these in the dropdown everything else would stay the same I guess.
