[TYPO3] Calendar Extension cal-1.0.0: FE Image upload does not work

Hi Typo-cracks

I have recently installed the calendar extension cal-1.0.0.
Everything looks very attractive and works fine, EXCEPT the uploading of 
images via frontend editing.

What I want to implement is an event-list with images.

What I do to upload an image is:

1) In the event-list I click on an event and the details-view comes up.

2) I click on the pencil-symbol to edit the event.

3) In the view "Edit Event" I choose an image, e.g. "image.jpg" from my 
file system and click "Save".

4) In the view "Confirm Event" I see a thumbnail of the image and click 
"Save". With this I fall back to the details view, which is empty now 
except of the message "No events found".

6) When I go back to my event-list, the picture is not there!

I checked and saw that the image has been uploaded and stored on the 
server as "uploads/tx_cal/pics/image.jpg".

If I go back to the editing of the files of this event, I see a checkbox 
to delete the image, but the image-thumbnail is missing. If I check in 
the HTML, an entry to display "uploads/tx_cal/pics/image_01.jpg" is 
there. So there seems to be a mismatch with the file-names.

I found a sort of workaround: When falling to the page with the "No 
events found" message, I click the browser-back-button and confirm the 
reloading of the page. When going into the event-list, the image is there!

I feel, that the problem has something to do with this "No events found" 
page.

Someone out there who had the same problem or even better has a solution 
to that problem?
