[TYPO3] How to traverse/navigate through the page tree?

Hello,

I would like to include a 'next' navigation point. His link ought to point
to the next side. So that the visitor is able to navigate with the
next-button through the whole website.
[A node with children points to the first child.
A node without a child points to the next element at the same level.]

To fullfill my needs, it can only navigate from the root to the child. So
that you don't have to jump back to a higher level...

The special property browse is able to navigate in the same level. But I
don't know howto make it able to go one level down.

If this would be a normal script I would just use a recursive function, but
TypoScript... ;( And I guess it is possible in TypoScript.

Kind regards,
  Sylvia Boback
