To learn TYPO3 or better how to setup sites with TYPO3 has many ways to

I would just recommend to USE TemplaVoila but start best with a working
solution and the examine everything and how it has been done and how it is
working.

The best TYPO3 Package for this purpose is the Starter Package from
Webempowered Church http://webempoweredchurch.org
Download it and start working with TYPO3 and TemplaVoila. It is quite easy
and very handy and they provide a hue load of very good tutorials and
classes (even as videos)

Here you can learn how to setup templates, modify them , create content and
much more.

It comes along with everything you would need to run a TYPO3 website
including over 100 Templates (ready to go). Using the Template Manual from
WEC will teach you fast how to utilize TemplaVoila for our purposes ad ow to
manipulate/customize one of those existing WEC Templates or even how to
create an own Template and how to map it and also which naming standards
will make your own templates working together with all WEC and T3Pack
templates.
