This is what I always complained about (and it was not understood by many):
- early version of support.typo3.org was build with commercial java software (thanks to Steffen - not a case now)
- wiki does not use timtaw

My worries were exactly what you say: newcomers will see that we do not use our own software and avoid using the system. If developers do not use their own system, why newcomers should?
