[TYPO3] Lack of tt_news

Hi Georg

This would be a great idea. Toi-news have something to present a bit more
(toi products) and also features the possibilty to use many categories and
TYPes of categories (i.e. info-typ3) tt_news is great but it is really
lacking the feature like already Morton mentioned. Another problem is, that
lots and lots of extensions blew up tt_news without giving tt_news a really
good structure for editing the content. Compare it to toi news - which is
from only one developer - but here everything is looking pretty nice for the
editors and it would be nice to have something similar also in tt_news.

Another news derivate is wec_knowledgebase which features great search
funktionality and adding some additional multimedia content (thanks to Georg
now possible also in tt_news :-). Does anybody know if tt_news gets
"coordinated" by a coordination team, this would be really useful instead of
blowing it up more and more we should try to integrate and reduce the amount
of tt_news extensions which i.e. add only a little field or funtion.

Perhaps Irre could be here really a great help
