[TYPO3] Translate pages with a function

Hello,

I'm trying to automatize as much as possible the translation process on
a TYPO3 website.

When you add a new language to a website I'd like to generate all pages
translated adding a prefix as "Translate to es:" in the title. Later I
can export this pages as XML, translate some fields in this XML an
import translations.

I've been able to do this with records using function localize (at
t3lib_TCEmain), however I don't find any function to do it with pages.

I'd like to know if there is any function that translates a page.
