[TYPO3] rgaccordion menu problems

Hello everybody,

I've got the rgaccordion extension configured to show a menu on my site. 
There are just a couple of things I can't get to work properly.

When I click a menu-item (not the text in it), the menu slides open. But 
when I click on the text, the corresponding page get opened, but the 
menu doesn't expand.

I would like to be able to click an item, open the corresponding page 
and expand the menu at the same time.

Can anybody tell me what settings I should add/alter and what they 
should be?
