[TYPO3] TYPO3 4.2 on PHP 5.1

there is that TYPO3 4.2 requires PHP 5.

So it should go on PHP 5.1.



But
http://news.typo3.org/news/article/typo3-association-releases-version-42-focus-on-usability-and-performance-improvements/
it states that is should be PHP 5.2.


So how is this really?
Will TYPO3 4.2 go on PHP 5.1?
