[TYPO3] 'Edit page' permissions required in workspaces?

Hi, 

I have just setup a site with lots of users with workspaces and I
noticed something ... my client doesn't want users to edit the page
titles, etc so I set the permissions to disallow 'edit page', it worked
fine but then inside the workspaces I noticed that all changes made by
the be users can only be viewed in the list module. In the tv page
module it's just empty.. why is that?
