[TYPO3] Setting differences between IE and Firefox

I believe most of the differences you talk about in fact does relate to JavaScript and CSS. If that is the case, then you only need to worry about those differences in Typo3 Just like Søren said. (i.e. this is an issue independent of Typo3).

Can you please explain the part about "differences on menu drop-down and
content elements"?

Is it a styling issues, that they are placed or styled differently from
browser to browser? If that's the case, it got nothing to do directly with
TYPO3, but the styling of the webpage.

Can you maybe post a link to the page?
