[TYPO3] How to manually uninstall an extension

I have installed the timtab_twitter extension
(http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/timtab_twitter/0.1.0/), and
after installing it learnt that it depends on fn_lib
(http://typo3.org/extensions/repository/view/fn_lib/0.2.0/). Now of course,
I would like to install fn_lib, but the backend now doesn't work at all and
just outputs the error "TYPO3 Fatal Error: Extension key "fn_lib" was NOT
loaded! (t3lib_extMgm::extPath)".

Can I manually remove or disable timtab_twitter, or manually install fn_lib?
