[TYPO3] TYPO3 requirements and Apache1/Apache2

I'm trying to determine the recommended requirements for TYPO3 4.1.5 
here: http://wiki.typo3.org/index.php/TYPO3_4.1.5

But that information is not there.

I am running:

Apache 1.3.37
PHP  4.4.7
MySQL 5.0.37

with TYPO3 4.1.5 on CentOS5.

Is this suitable?

Would switching to Apache2 be advisable and which version of Apache 2 is 
stable?

I am reading some conflicting information that may be outdated.
