[TYPO3] add my own tag in RTE

Hello All

I want to add my own tag in RTE. I tried it with RTE setting but it is 
not working. typo3 wrap that tag with <p> </p> and change my new tag 
<mytag> something here </mytag> to
<p>&lt;mytag&gt; something here &lt;/mytag&gt;</p>.

could anybody tell me that how I can define my newtag in RTE?.
