[TYPO3] all news appers in archive section of tt_news !!!

Dear all,

I have the following setup in tsconstant

plugin.tt_news.enableArchiveDate = 1

plugin.tt_news.archiveMode >
plugin.tt_news.archiveMode = month
plugin.tt_news.archiveMenuNoEmpty >
plugin.tt_news.archiveMenuNoEmpty = 1
plugin.tt_news.limit = 3
plugin.tt_news.reverseAMenu = 1
plugin.tt_news.displayArchivedInLatest = 1

The latest news successfully shows only the non archived news BUT the
archive page shows all the news both old and the very new.
Please note the archive page has LIST mode with "show only archived" option.

Could any one kindly suggest any fix please ??
