[TYPO3-english] Problem with linked images

Hello,

I have a problem with linked images. Due to user requirements I was
forced to enable the use of images in htmlarea, which causes no problem
until now.

I do have the problem, that images are rendered to FE-Otupu as long as
they are not linked. Once I put a link on them, the image is stripped
from the output.

I already looked dep into the rte configuration only to realize, that
this daoes not seem to be the problem, since the linked image is being
written in the database. The problem seems to be the rendering of
database contents to the frontend, but I have to admit that I do not
know where to start looking for the problem. I am currently using TYPO3
4.2.3 with Templavoila 1.3.7.

I would greatly appreciate any helpful comments on this problem.
