[TYPO3] insert record for tt_address & cal

Dear list,
i try to display tt_address and cal event records through the "insert 
record" content element (tt_content.shortcut).
But it wont give me any fe-output.

i am using typo3 v.4.2.1 and the latest versions of cal and tt_address.
as far as i understand the rendering process these two extensions should 
output something out of the box.

i also tried to output tt_address records by extending the shortcut 
configuration like this:


tt_content.shortcut.20.0.conf.tt_address = COA
tt_content.shortcut.20.0.conf.tt_address {
         10=TEXT
         10.field= name
         10.wrap=<strong>|</strong><br />
}

any ideas what i am doing wrong?
