[TYPO3] Search Problems

Hello, 

First problem :
I'm having problems with indexed search and I don't know where to look for
the cause...
My pages are indexed, and my search page is showing. But when I enter
something in the field next to 'Search for' and I press the searchbutton 
on
the search page, I get the default search page. No results or no
message like 'no results found..'. It's like my form wasn't submitted..
When I look in the backend at Web -> Info -> Indexed search statistics, I
see the words I searched..

Does it have something to do with user rights??
I know my indexing is okay, but when the search doesn't return results, 
shouldn't that be printed on my page?
Has someone any idea where I should start searching??
Can I put some logging somewhere to intercept the error???

Second problem (probably related to the first):
I added a macina_searchbox in the main template :
plugin.tx_macinasearchbox_pi1 {
 pidSearchpage = 1
}
subparts.searchbox < plugin.tx_macinasearchbox_pi1

When looking at the
html-code generated, the following is generated :
<form action="" method="post" name="tx_indexedsearch" id="searchform"
style="margin:0px; padding:0px; ">
As you can see, the action isn't filled in.

Please help, because I'm stuck on this for a while now. Many thanks !
