[TYPO3] Indexed Search

I'm using 

plugin.tx_macinasearchbox_pi1 {
  pidSearchpage = 1
 }
 subparts.searchbox < plugin.tx_macinasearchbox_pi1

It shows up fine on my page, but only when I hit the search button, I just 
reload the current page, because the action of the form is empty..

Do you have any suggestions on the indexed search not working?
I'm using typo3 ver. 4.1.6 on linux system.
