[TYPO3] Active Directory support ???

Hi!
I'm about to migrate a website to a new environment. I'm thinking about
setting up Typo3 as a possible CMS for the site (I'm also looking at
Lenya...).

It is very important to me that the CMS supports Active Directory, and that
it will be possible to use Active Directory for access issues.

Will Typo3 support that??
Does it require a lot of coding/modifications to enable this?
