[TYPO3] Weird characters in GMENU after server change [SOLVED]

That was it. I toyed a bit with FontForge and what worked eventually was 
to convert my font from OTF to TTF. Now the characters are all correct. 
A slight grey aura has appeared however, as if the font were of lesser 
quality once transformed.
