[TYPO3] How to show plugin output on page

Thank you Katja for the information.

The link you refer to
(http://lists.netfielders.de/pipermail/typo3-english/2007-September/043090.html)
ends with the same question as I have.
I have made my extension/plugin. I have edited the PHP-code for it
(Hello-world-style) but I do not know how to get the output in the page.

As I see it I have to connect the plugin to an element or something like it.
But how and where is that done?

Regards,
Anders
