Hey all,

To allow for sponsoring bug-fixes is not a good idea,
from a organizational point of view within open source software.

This could lead to core developers 'waiting' until they
get sponsored for items in bug-track and in the mean
time to would push there favorite fix/feature before a bug-fix.
(I am not saying that is happening now)

Better is to have an priority system in place that would
put import bug fixes upfront of less important bugs items.
And get these bugs out of they way because they are simply
more important, not because somebody paid for teh fix.

This is of-course different from (new) feature requests, which are
always good to get sponsoring for and is quite normal in the OS
industry.

kind regards,
