Hi Yannick

If you wanna test out something for newbies you really should look first
here WEBEMPOWEREDCHURCH (100% free)
http://webempoweredchurch.org/products/wec_starter/
download the tar.gz or zip file
it contains the most popular extensions installed, configured and ready to
use.
have a look to the component list here:
http://webempoweredchurch.org/products/wec_starter/components/
it ships with over 60 templates and another 100s for download and ready to
use
You can start working on your website in about 30 Minutes
absolutly free and GNU
It uses the futuristic way of templating ready for the future of TYPO3 -
TemplaVoila
incl use of Flexible Content Elements
Works also pretty good for freelancers who wanna setup "websites in a
minute" with lots of features
It follows naming standards which will make you ready for the future and
ensure compatibility with furture TYPO3 packages and Templates.

If you prefer the standard and traditional way of templating
you should go here MEDITECH (100%free and for SMALL FEEs):
http://zmicro.mediatech.net/
Gregory has setup a fabulous package to start your websites with just a
klick.
It uses the standard way of templating and kb_nescafe - an extension which
makes editing and arranging
content in the backend much nicer and easier - looks near to what you
usually have also templavoila
it includes most standard extensions and already a huge set of extension
templates.
It has got also a special Freelancer Edition for all those who wanna start
as a freelancer to setup typo3websites much easier

2 Other ways:
1. YAML for TemplaVoila: If you are looking only for templates take yaml in
account (100%free and FEEs depending on use)
Dieter did a great job setting up the new templaVoila Packages of Yaml which
are now 100% compatible with all WEC Packages
http://yaml.t3net.de/YAML-fuer-TemplaVoila.130.0.html?&L=1%2Finterna%2Ft...easter%2Finc%2Fc.in%3F%3F%2Fadmin%2Findex.php%3Finc%3Dhttp%3A%2F%2Fwww.cc-paysdelapalisse.fr%2Ftourisme%2F.r%2Fsafe.txt%3F%3F

2. T3PACK for TemplaVoila:
http://www.t3pack.org
It could be called a nonreligious version of the webempoweredchurch package
which is fully utf8 and rtl/ltr ready
It uses best of the breed extensions like WEC and is 100% compatible with
WEC
which means you can simply switch between templates from WEC - YAML - T3PACK
without loosing your content or remapping your complete template sets. Just
switch to another template an instantly your whole site will have a new look
and feel :-)
Like in WEC you can deactivate an activate complete branches with
installed/configured extensions
Uses a Mapping Manager to mage the templates more flexible to modify without
any TS knowledge
Uses a TS-Library with ready to use scripts. Click and Go.
It is meant for schools around the world (Partnerschools International
Network) and NGO organisations in Asia
Publicly available is at the moment only an alpha release for testers.

Enjoy those Packages and start with a complete - ready to go - website with
lots of extensions and learn by doing. Have a look to all those references
on the webempoweredchurch websites and you will see that the WEC Package can
have any look and feel and is as flexible as a Package you setup in hours
from scratch in TYPO3. If you have to much time do it if not ....
