[TYPO3] login/session problem

I'm having the same problem except I've had an install going for a few
months now and yesterday when I started logging into the BE all I got
was a blank screen. I even tried a username / password combo that I knew
didn't work and still get the white screen. My BE URL is
http://my.path.org/cms/typo3/ and after attempting to log in, it goes to
http://my.path.org/cms/typo3/index.php

Hello!

I have the following problem:

- after migrating my TYPO3 from Linux platform to Win NT platform I 
simply cannot login neither to BE nor to FE (using login box). All I get

is a white page in both cases.

The session record is always created in DB (be_sessions) but there is no

cookie for be session in my browser (which supports cookies of course).

Installation details:

TYPO3 4.0.4
PHP 4.4.3
MySQL 4.1.21

Maybe there is some problem with file/dir permitions? I really have no 
idea because I have checked almost all things that came to my mind :(
