[TYPO3] QuickEdit - allow users to edit inserted records from another page...

Hi Tim,
I don't think this is possible, because the backend only shows the
content with the pid of the active page, and this is clearly not the
text element you want to edit.
Did you try to show the edit icons in your frontend (option in the
admin panel)? Frontend editing shows an edit icon right behind the
text element, which points to the actual text.
So, maybe frontend editing is your solution...
