[TYPO3] utf8 with indexed search

I have $TYPO3_CONF_VARS["BE"]["forceCharset"] = 'utf-8' set and all is 
working fine.
I have problem with indexed search extension: if I search some words 
with non ascii character (i.e. capacità), it is not able to find.
Also all the characters with accent in the results are not rendered well.
It looks like indexed search is not able to work with utf-8 (but I'm 
sure needs some setting I was not able to do...)

Is there a solution?
