[TYPO3] tt_news 2.4.0 upgrade issue

Hi,

Typo3 V4.0.4
tt_news 2.4.0

When I clicked the extension News in the extension manager, I can see
'UPDATE!' in the drop down list.  I selected it and clicked the 'DO IT'
button.  But my loaded News ext is still 2.4.0 after the whole backend
interface being refreshed.  I went into it again, and didn't see the
'UPDATE!' option any more in the drop down list anymore.  I checked the
TER and didn't see tt_news had 2.5.0 version.  The highest is 2.4.0.  How
should I upgrade tt_news then?
