[TYPO3] install tool doesn't update database

Hi,

You should not add that to my.cnf but to setDBinit in localconf.php

In the install tool -> all configuration -> setDBinit 
Add the line:
Set sql_mode="MYSQL40"

Usualy does the trick.

Hey all,

Copying and pasting the queries into phpmyadmin executes most of them fine, so it might be a problem with the install tool there. Not sure how to confirm that though.
