Did you ever tried to setup a multi-site Joomla installation ? Or maybe
complex user rights management ? Or maybe you have tried building a 1500
pages website where the stuff is not news but actual pages (static
content in Joomla terms)?

Frankly, there's no doom ahead for our *Enterprise* CMS in those areas.

True that TYPO3 will never become Teh Hobbyist CMS tough.

And yes TYPO3 still needs to have better way of doing stuff but there
will always be things that those smaller CMS will never achieve for
bigger and more complex sites.

Use the right tool for the job is always a good idea. :)
