[TYPO3] Is htmlArea dead?

htmlarea is dead and buried already for a loooooong time.

I remember there was a discussion about this and the current maintainer
of htmlarea doesn't have time to switch RTE.

I feel it's indeed time to switch the RTE to something that is  
maintained,
Tiny is a good choice aswell as FCK.

However who is going to do the huge job?
