[TYPO3] referencing graphicsmagick in php

[dave typo]

well, I'm trying to get an extension to watermark images using
graphicsmagick, and i was trying to wrap my head around how to go
about writing the php.

so I don't know if gifbuilder could do what im trying to do

any help?
