[TYPO3] can list module also show records from sub pages

if im on a page that has sub pages

parent page
   |
   |-sub
   |
   |-sub


and the sub pages have some records on them, I wanto be able to use the 
list module, while looking at the parent page, see the records on the 
sub pages as well.

i see that i can use the search box, enter nothing and click SEARCH to 
get this efect, but is it possible to get this by default?
