[TYPO3] Templavoila and additional where clause

thank you for your response.
I found this
10= RECORDS
10.source.current=1
10.tables = tt_content
10.wrap = <!--TYPO3SEARCH_begin--> | <!--TYPO3SEARCH_end-->
in DS XML.

Where should I use .if? Like this:
10= RECORDS
10.source.current=1
10.source.if {
...
}
10.tables = tt_content
10.wrap = <!--TYPO3SEARCH_begin--> | <!--TYPO3SEARCH_end-->
??

Do I understand you right?
