[TYPO3] preview in fe_rtenews

I use the front end rte news editor for our members to be able to write news
articles without having to login in the BE. However, we've noticed that if
one writes an articles and clicks "Preview" then the article is previewed,
but also removed from the RTE editor. So if one then hits Submit thinking
that what is previewed will be posted, all you get is an empty post.

Most irritating.

Anyone else seen this - and has a solution?
