[TYPO3] Problem with Content Element Image and Columns

I have a page with a Image element and have added some images to it.  
I have also set the number of columns to 3 because i want them to  
line up 3 images besides each other.

What happends is that I have two images on the first line and one  
image on the second line. And it continues like that. The last image  
in a row is pushed down to the next line. That also happend if I  
increase the number of columns.

If I use table based rendering of image text the problem disappear,  
but I really need to use div rendered on this page.
