[TYPO3] Link Target attribute in tt_news

Hi,

 

I have checked my website and all pages pass the w3c strict validator
except the page with tt_news eternal links.

 

I can't get them to not add the Target attribute. 

 

I have tried:

 

*	setting it to nothing in the constant editor
*	not setting it at all in the constant editor
*	adding to the constants of the page this -
styles.content.links.extTarget = 
*	looking in the tt_news template
*	made sure that the links are chosen without a target specified
in the popup URL menu

 

Please, please help...it is driving me mad :-(
