I think you are out of topic :-)
differences to your description:
(at least with my site)
- no downgrade with mysql
- alle tt_content-records have valid UIDs.
Using this UID I can identify them with phpmyadmin and edit them.
e.g.: If I only change the type of the elmenent from table to text I have
full access to all fields (which are the same in table and text) = I can
edit the rocord in BE
- the reported bug is fixed in 4.0.3. I use 4.0.4 (and will try to update
to 4.0.5 today)
