[TYPO3] Extension version problem with 3.8.1 VS 4.0.2

Hi,
Im making and extension and i have one PHP class that im usign that is in a 
directory in the extension called.
/diroftheclass/theclass.class.php.
When i use it in the ...pi1.php i make a require_one the class.
In typo 4.0.2 with PHP 5 it works correctly but when i use it in typo 3.8.1 
PHP 4.4 it seems that its not visible because executes functions of the 
class like if didnt have the parameters in.
¿What im making wrongs?
