[TYPO3] Can not get into the BE

Thanks Christoph. I tried creating two new BE users but I still could
not log into the back end. Before that I have tried logging in with 2
previous user login details.

When I compare the database using the install tool, it comes up with
this entry:

Changing fields
ALTER TABLE be_users CHANGE lang lang varchar(2) NOT NULL default '';
Current value: char(2) default ''

Removing tables (rename with prefix)
(EXT) ALTER TABLE tx_cal_calendar_fnb_user_group_mm RENAME
zzz_deleted_tx_cal_calendar_fnb_user_group_mm;
******************************

Could one of these be the problem?
Is it safe to make these changes?

Ben,

You can create another admin user using the install tool, no problem.
Just  
make sure you delete the one you don't need anymore.
