[TYPO3] real URL is not working

Dear all,

My typo3 powered site is  http://192.168.1.100/starter/
started under htdocs has all the typo3 files & folders.

I am trying to implement the real URL.
1> Hence I have installed the real url extension.
2> rename  _.htaccess   to   .htaccess
3> added the typoscript configuration as
     0: config.simulateStaticDocuments *=* 0

   1: config.baseURL *=* 1
   2: config.tx_realurl_enable *=* 1

but still the real url is not working. could any one kindly suggest any fix ?
