[TYPO3] searching for a good tutorial on tt_news

yes, I have added the categories to the storage folder;  called
"Archive" as I created for storing.

Are you talking abt "startingpoint" ? if so then, yes I have set it as
"Archive" as it is my storage sys folder

Well, this is the area where I am facing my problem. categories are not
coming :-(

I am not using any typoscript here. simply adding the news plugin.
