[TYPO3] second domain is a directory of the root domain

Hello list,

I want to do something special but I have now idea how I can do it.

I have a typo3 configuration with 2 sites.  The address of the first
site is for example www.domainname.com.  The address of the second site
is www.domainname.com/secondsite/

Typo3 is installed on the root.  For the moment there is no directory 
secondsite.  I use www.domainname.com/index.php?id=1 to go to the second 
site but I want to be able to use www.domainname.com/secondsite/

For both sites I want to use realurl so I hoped that I can have a 
solution with realurl.

It is not possible to change a setting on the web server :(

Can someone give me some advice on this.  Many many thanks for that.
