[TYPO3] hide non-editable content types in BE

Been digging around but with no success so far… in order to simplify list
and page views for BE users, how can content types that the user does not
have rights to edit be hidden? 

 

E.g. if basic BE user can only edit text & filelink types – how to hide from
BE views html, sitemap, plugins etc.

 

Anybody done this before?
